Scott has served as youth minister, NAMB church planter, pastor, and capital campaign consultant.  He has a business degreefrom Oklahoma State University, an M.Div from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, and a DMin from Midwestern Seminary in Kansas City.
Scott and his wife Sharon have been married for forty years and have six children and nine grandchildren.  Sharon is an Elementary Education graduate of Oklahoma State University and taught school for over twenty years.
